10 bits of Heyman news to start 2010

As we begin 2010 here are a 10 things happening with the Heyman family:

1. Isaiah and Thea are doing really well in home school. It's amazing to see their progress already after the past 5 weeks. Please pray for Samantha as she is learning how to teach two different elementary school grade levels in French no less. She is doing an amazing job!!

2. Silas is doing well in French pre-school. Please pray that he continues to pick up the language.

3. We are loving all the snow here in our first winter next to Geneva. It's snowing again outside as I type this.

4. Justus is excited about what God is doing amongst the teens and young adults at Crossroads Church.  Please pray for the 18 teens who will be going to Snow Camp with him from February 20-27.  Pray that each teen learns more about what it means to live in the way of Jesus and makes steps in his or her faith journey.

5. We are so thankful for the friends God has already provided for us here.

6. We are grateful for several significant year end donations which helped us return into the positive with our account with CAI. Thank you to each of you who have supported us! We couldn't do what we are doing here in Europe without you.

7. Isaiah is doing really well on his basketball team and is growing up so fast. He's played in his first couple basketball games over the past month or two. It's amazing that our little boy is already 9.

8. Thea loves her pottery class. She just made a sword for Silas. Her teacher said, "oh dangereux" and smiled. She loves to make gifts for others and is so thoughtful.

9.  Justus decided as one of his goals in 2010 to stay fit, so he is going to run the Geneva Marathon in May.

10. We look forward to seeing what God does in us and through us in 2010!!
